Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto (fourth from right), Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone (fourth from left) and Town Clerk James Altadonna Jr. (third from right) recently attended the Plainedge Youth Baseball League’s 2nd Annual Tournament for the Brian Moore Memorial Fund held at the Town of Oyster Bay’s Plainedge Park. NYPD Police Officer Brian Moore made the ultimate sacrifice when he was killed in the line of duty on May 4, 2015. The Brian Moore Tournament for the Brian Moore Memorial Fund features many little league baseball teams from across Long Island playing in a tournament that honors Brian’s memory.
The Brian Moore Memorial Fund gives out scholarships to high school students based on their academic accomplishments. On hand with Supervisor Venditto and the Town Officials for the baseball tournament were (left to right) Brian Moore Memorial Fund Board Member Dominic Pannitti, Ralph Raymond, Nassau County Legislator Rose Walker, Plainedge High School graduate and scholarship recipient Nicholas Ticali, Brian Moore’s father Detective Raymond Moore, Plainedge High School graduate and Scholarship Recipient Alexa LaScala, and Brian Moore Memorial Fund Board Members John Patrucci and Rich Gentile.
