The Village of Westbury Safety Commission recently hosted the annual Bike Rodeo. Children were joined by a safety trainer on a bicycle obstacle course at the recreation center and received tips on proper hand signals and general bicycle safety.
Bicycle brakes and tires were checked and participants had an opportunity to learn, practice and demonstrate their bicycle handling skills in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere.
