Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, in cooperation with Legislator Rose Walker, has arranged for the county’s Department of Assessment tax exemption workshop to be held at the Hicksville Public Library on Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
If you live in and are the owner of a home, condominium or cooperative apartment, you may qualify for hundreds of dollars in property tax savings each year. This workshop will help participants file for or learn more about the property tax exemptions they may be eligible for. Homeowners should bring copies of any documentation required for the property tax exemption that he or she is applying for.
