Movie: My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2
In this sequel to the 2002 sleeper hit, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Toula (Nia Vardalos) finds her extended family rocked by the revelation that her mother and father were never really married—which of course, requires an even bigger Greek wedding so they can officially tie the knot. Meanwhile, Toula struggles to spice up her marriage to Ian (John Corbett), and is heartbroken when her daughter Paris (Elena Kampouris) says she wants to go to a distant college in order to get away from her overbearing clan. From 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Central Avenue children’s room.

Artist Meet and Greet: Ron Campbell
The legendary animator Ron Campbell, will be exhibiting his original Beatles cartoon art as well as painting new works during his appearance. Campbell will also be exhibiting artwork featuring other beloved cartoon characters that encompass his 50-year career in children’s television such as Scooby Doo, the Smurfs, Rugrats, Winnie the Pooh, Flintstones, Jetsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more. All works are available for purchase. Admission is free, however, canned food items are requested for Rock CAN Roll. Rock CAN Roll collaborates with rock concerts, schools, corporations, and private individuals to collect healthy and nutritious non-perishable food for distribution to local agencies and into the hands of children, seniors and families who live with hunger and in poverty. Teen Summer Reading Closing Party
End the Teen Summer Reading 2016 Program with a bang. Compete in the first ever library games and enjoy mini golf, life-sized Jenga, “minute to win it,” video games and more. After the games, pizza and snacks wil be served as well as a raffling off of gift baskets and the summer reading grand prize. If you finished the teen summer reading program (read and reviewed at least two books), you’ll be invited to attend. From 2 to 4 p.m. in the Bar Harbour auditorium.

Adopt-A-Battalion Soldier’s Drive
Come help put care packages together for troops overseas. Looking for personal care items, seasonings, hot sauces and items other than candy. From 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Island Knight of Columbus Council, 2 Eastgate Rd., Massapequa Park.

Scrabble
Come in and enjoy a game of Scrabble from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bar Harbour meeting room. No registration required.

Neighborhood Youth Park Summer Program
Teens and tweens are invited to the Neighborhood Youth Park Summer Program at Marjorie Post Park. Youth ages 12-16 can play handball, basketball, volleyball, enjoy music and refreshments, hang out and enjoy special events and more. Movie: The Lady in the Van
The Bar Harbour auditorium will show a 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. screening of the movie, The Lady in the Van. Based on the true story of Miss Shepherd (Maggie Smith), a woman of uncertain origins who “temporarily” parks her van in Alan Bennett’s (Alex Jennings) London driveway and proceeds to live there for 15 years. What begins as a grudging favor becomes a relationship that will change both their lives. Starring Maggie Smith and Alex Jennings (2015; PG-13, 1 hr 45 mins).

Barnes & Noble Weekly Storytime
Come to Barnes & Noble for storytime. Listen to a story and enjoy making crafts afterward. From 11:30 a.m. to noon at 5224 Sunrise Hwy., Massapequa Park.
