Maintaining beautiful conditions for the Floral Park playground throughout the summer months is done under the auspices of the year-round and summer maintenance staff. The six ball fields are conditioned and cut on a regular basis for the adult and senior softball leagues, district and summer league baseball, and sports camps and the primary recreation programs. In addition, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts are cared for seven days a week. Bathrooms are cleaned, garbage is collected and flowers are watered on a daily basis. This outstanding work and much appreciated effort is done by the summer maintenance staff headed by supervisor Brian Dunn. Kudos go out to staff members Tommy Mack, Jim Ratto, Keith DiLorenzo and Liam Murphy.
