Local Joins Advisory Board

Westbury’s Dev Parekh recently joined the Long Island Advisory Board of Friends of Karen, an organization that provides free emotional, financial and advocacy support to families with a child with cancer or another life-threatening illness.

Parekh is an influential, high-energy leader with a career distinguished by successes in taking businesses to greater levels of operational and financial performance. He was named Chief Financial Officer at Broadridge Financial Solutions–a marquee provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions for the financial services industry–for a two billion dollar division at the age of 32, the youngest in the firm’s history.

More recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for one of Broadridge’s fastest growing business units.

A CPA, Parekh received his B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University, where he also served as president of a multicultural social fraternity, president of a large campus residential complex and the keynote speaker at that University’s graduation ceremony. He earned his Executive MBA from Columbia Business School and was also elected and served as keynote speaker for that commencement.

Parekh is the proud father of two children.
