Legislator Birnbaum Honors Richardson

Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (left) honored Village of Great Neck Court Clerk Velma Richardson with a county legislature citation at the retirement party that was held for her on Aug. 4. Richardson served the village for more than 20 years and, during that time, she assisted with training programs for court clerks. She was the president of the Nassau-Suffolk Court Clerk Association from 2009 to 2010 and president of the New York State Court Clerk Association from 2012 to 2014. “I thank Velma Richardson for her more than two decades of service to the village and wish her well as she begins her retirement,” said Birnbaum.
