Levittown Appoints Special Education Chairperson

SpedChair_083116AThe Levittown School District has appointed Stephanie Addona as special education chairperson for Division Avenue High School, effective Sept. 1.

Addona, a Lynbrook resident, formerly held the positions of certified speech language pathologist and Committees on Preschool Special Education chairperson and coordinator for the Lawrence Public School District. She replaces Terence Rusch as CPSE chairperson, who currently serves as assistant principal at Division Avenue High School.

Addona holds her bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Molloy College, a master’s degree in speech language pathology from St. John’s University and a certification in school district administration from Stony Brook University.

The Levittown School District wishes her Addona much success in her new position at Division Avenue High School.
