Congratulations to Ali Barrett of Levittown, who was the first finisher among the women in the 25-29 age group in the Oct. 15 Oyster Bay Town Supervisor’s 5 Kilometer Run. Barrett completed the challenging 3.107 mile course in 21 minutes, 24 seconds, which was 32 seconds in front of runner-up Maria Marascia of Huntington.
Special congratulations to town councilman Chris Coschignano, who put together a team of family, friends and colleagues who raised more than $1,000 for Autism Speaks, with Coschignano finishing the race in a very nice 31:40, and to the team from the Oyster Bay based Mill-Max Manufacturing Corporation, who had still another strong group of employees and friends entered in their hometown event.
Sincere thanks to the great sponsor team, led by the law firm of Sahn, Ward & Coschignano, Pro Sports of Oyster Bay and Huntington, Long Island Challenge sponsor Runner’s Edge and All Round Foods and its ever generous CEO Glen Wolther.
