Temple Emanuel of Great Neck and the Great Neck Library are cosponsoring Arthur Miller at 100 on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. at Temple Emanuel, 150 Hicks Lane.

This celebration of playwright Arthur Miller, on the 100th year of his birth, commemorates his voice and vision, which enriched the theater for more than half a century. His plays, many of them classics, tapped into the very soul of American society and into the lives of the men and women who sought to make sense of it. Four of his plays were performed during this past theater season, confirming his status as The Last of the Giants. The program was created and will be performed by actress Shirley Romaine, and includes background on Miller, his plays, a live performance and selections from his films.
