Operation Gratitude

Third grade students, in Mrs. Mitchell’s class, wrote letters of thanks to our deployed heroes, veteran’s at home, and those U.S. service members who have been wounded while serving our country.

Each heartfelt letter was forwarded to a member of the military through Operation Gratitude, an organization whose mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the Military.

Students have been learning facts about the United States, including the unique freedoms ensured by the Constitution, as part of the social studies curriculum.

Students were happy to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation to keep those freedoms and rights.
