Frank Cilluffo, our park commissioner, is seeking reelection for a second term this upcoming Dec. 13.
I want to take the time to remind everyone who was so instrumental in electing him two years ago that we must make our way to the polls and make sure we continue to support this amazing candidate.
Frank, a reputable hockey coach and a retired NYPD officer, took on the job of being a commissioner two years ago. He had a plan and a vision. He participated in all district meetings and became familiar with the many tasks and projects, including budget meetings, event planning and more.
When Frank won the election, he made a promise to all his supporters that he would dedicate his time and efforts to making Great Neck a better place. Working tirelessly, he met with residents on the streets of our town, listened to their concerns and their input, and made sure to follow up by upgrading, shaping and improving the Park District. He faced many challenges but was not deterred.
Frank’s mission is and always was to make sure Great Neck and its surroundings are a perfect place for our children and us. He stays involved in day-to-day operations, creates and maintains new programs, and helps make Great Neck our own little piece of heaven.
It is an ongoing job, but Frank is passionate, dedicated and focused. We couldn’t have chosen a better person for this job. We are so lucky to have him, and we all must take the time to vote on Dec. 13 and reelect him.
Please remember this is your chance to make your voice heard. It will determine the outcome of the next three years.
