Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding the hit-and-run driver who killed a 47-year-old man in Riverhead last month, authorities said.
Daniel Flammia was walking on the shoulder of Oliver Street when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene near the corner of Old Country Road at 6 p.m. Nov. 5, police said.
The victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, where he died from his injuries on Nov. 17.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
