Levels, the Great Neck Library’s Teen Center, will be holding auditions for its upcoming Theatre Workshop Players (TWP or Twip) Festival of Short Plays on Tuesday, April 4, and Wednesday, April 5, between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Auditions will be held at the Main Library in the Levels Teen Center on the lower level for performers in seventh grade and older. All experience levels are welcome.

Founded in 1979, TWP is Levels’ longest-running showcase for dramatic talent, which features student-directed one-act plays, scenes from classics, monologues and original works. TWP’s emphasis is on developing and taking risks. This year’s festival will feature an amazing number of original plays, including a one-act musical.

To audition, be prepared to read from provided scripts and, if interested in appearing in a musical, prepare a song to be sung a cappella. For more information, call 516-466-8055, ext. 216.
