The League of Yes helps kids with special needs and disabilities get outdoors and have some fun playing softball. The kids get to hit and run around the bases with assistance of volunteers called buddies. The organization is seeking new buddies, who will undoubtedly have a blast and meet some amazing kids.
There are two locations that need volunteers this Saturday, June 10: Bald Hill, Farmingville and Eisenhower Park, East Meadow.
Buddies are are especially needed at Eisenhower Park location due to a cancellation. If you can help come down and assist the players, email: kristine@leagueofyes.com or greg@leagueofyes.com
The organization is also looking for more volunteers the next two Saturdays on June 17 and June 24. Contact League of Yes if you, your neighbors, your friends, your family, your church/temple groups, Girl/Boy Scouts or school groups can help.
