Three people were arrested this week for allegedly kidnapping and killing a 22-year-old Hempstead man who was found dead in Wyandanch four months ago, Suffolk County police said.
Dequanna Bates, 24, Joshua Nickens, 25, and Larry Dennis, 47, all of Bellport, were charged with second-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping.
Homicide Squad detectives alleged that the trio kidnapped and killed Alan Moore, who was found dead in an abandoned house on Long Island Avenue in Wyandanch at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, April 1.
A man trying to escape the weather made the discovery and flagged down officers to report the find, police said at the time.
The three suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
