Hiring Opportunities At Roosevelt Field Job Fair Oct. 14

Hundreds of jobs available as retailers look to fill key positions for the holiday season

Job seekers on Long Island looking to get a foot in the door at one of the most successful retail destinations in the region, will learn all about employment opportunities available at Roosevelt Field, when it hosts a job fair on Saturday, October 14. Taking place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the event will feature a multitude of retailers in search of local talent, with many accepting applications to fill positions, ranging from entry-level retail and sales to management opportunities.

“By hosting the job fair, we hope to forge connections between our participating stores and job seekers on Long Island looking for a future in the retail industry,” commented Nancy Gilbert, director of marketing for Roosevelt Field. “As one of the most successful malls in the region, our merchants are looking for the best and brightest talent so we encourage those in search of opportunities to come prepared and ready to impress.”

Participating retailers include, Abercrombie + Fitch, Banana Republic, bareMinerals, GameStop, Jamba Juice, NIC+ZOE, Pandora, Roosevelt Field Guest Services, Tory Burch, Tourneau, Zara, and more.

The job fair is free and open to the public. Candidates should attend prepared with a current resume to provide to prospective employers, who will conduct one-on-one screenings and provide information about the opportunities within their respective company.
