The Floral Park Junior Woman’s Club is once again accepting applicaions from high school seniors residing in the Floral Park and Bellerose community for the Mary Hoke, Laura Kehoe and Betty Holdampf Scholarship Awards. These scholarships are based on community service and are given annually to students who exemplify the fine qualities of these three women.
Candidates should be able to show a strong commitment to their community and school on a continuing basis. Applications are available at the reference desk of the Floral Park library for students attending private schools. Public school students attending Floral Park Memorial may obtain applications at the guidance office.
The deadline for submitting a completed application is April 17. Applications from Floral Park Memorial students may be returned to the guidance office. All other applications should be mailed to Lynn Smith, 27 E. Cherry St., Floral Park, NY 11001.
