If you enjoy delicious food and like to try new tasty bites, then the Second Annual Taste of the Towns will delight you with food sensations from Port Washington and Manhasset’s finest restaurants.
The Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington will sponsor this annual Taste of the Towns at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church at 100 Fairway Drive in Port Washington. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. and the admission is $20.
Last year, this lively culinary event attracted many seeking to sample scrumptious appetizers, entrees and wine tastings. The atmosphere will be lively with the great music of local band, Porch Light LITE.
All proceeds benefit children, families and the community. Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington provides scholarships to local seniors, sends needy children to camp and promotes anti-drug and anti-bullying programs. The club donates Pediatric Trauma Kits for EMT services wherever there is a need.
The Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington welcomes sponsors to support this wonderful event. For $100 anyone can be a sponsor and get to hang their banner during the event.
