The Oyster Bay High School Parent Teacher Student Association is gearing up for its annual spring fundraiser on March 16, which will take place at Soundview Caterers in Bayville, from 7 to 11 p.m.
“This is one of our largest fundraisers and we’re really excited about it,” said Linda Bosch, co-president of the PTSA.
The spring fundraiser offers parents, teachers, staff and community members a chance to dress up, get out and have a good time while supporting the schools. The PTSA supports a variety of services and programs, including Challenge Day, the College Awareness trip, cultural arts, assemblies and staff appreciation day, as well as providing T-shirts to incoming seventh-graders and farewell gifts to graduating seniors.
“Without funding, we would have nothing to give to the students,” said Bosch. “We rely on the generosity of parents and businesses in the community.”
The cost of $70 includes cocktails, open bar, dinner and dessert. Local artists will perform and raffles will be available.
Visit www.obenschool.org to purchase tickets online or make a check to OBHS PTSA and mail to: PTSA Night On the Sound, 91 Maxwell Ave., Oyster Bay, NY 11771.
