Women for Singas and nuBest have partnered to present a special event on Monday, May 21, at 7 p.m. that will combine thoughtful discussion with fun and a little beauty. This unique event will prove that few things are more beautiful than smart, strong and empowered women coming together for a cause.

As a bipartisan group focused on getting women more engaged in the issues affecting their families and community, “Women for Singas” is building on the strong momentum created with the election of women to top positions across Nassau County this past November. Long-time believers in empowering women, nuBest graciously offered to host the event and will offer mini salon services and makeovers, styling tips and demonstrations. Delicious bites and drinks will be offered by For Five Coffee Roasters.

Among the issues Singas has been focusing on during her time in office are the opioid epidemic, going after gangs, cracking down on drug trafficking and addressing corruption in Nassau County. She will discuss these important topics and also take questions from the women who attend.

To sign up for the event, visit www.madelinesingas.com/womenforsingas to register. Suggested contribution is $100, with young women (daughters, granddaughters, nieces and other special young women) invited as guests.
