Catholic Health Services (CHS) has named George Beauregard, DO, senior vice president of value-based care for CHS Physician Partners Medical Group, a CHS employed faculty network, which includes approximately 250 physicians and 100 mid-level providers.
“We are excited to have Dr. Beauregard join the CHS team,” said executive vice president and Chief Clinical Officer Patrick M. O’Shaughnessy, DO, MBA, FACEP. “His extensive experience will be a great asset to leading our population health management organization
and help position CHS as a leader in this space.”
Beauregard, a physician executive with 20 years of multi-leadership experience in large physician networks and integrated delivery systems, brings talent and robust credentials to this role. He recently served as vice president and chief physician executive for St. Luke’s Health Partners of Boise (SLHP), Idaho, which comprises approximately 2,400 providers, where he lead the design and implementation of essential components that transformed SLHP into becoming a clinically integrated network.
Also, he has served as senior vice president and chief clinical officer at Pinnacle Health in Harrisburg, PA, as president and chief medical officer for Southcoast Physicians Network of Massachusetts and cofounded Primary Care physician network of eastern Massachusetts. His medical practice career consisted of 18 years as a community-based internal medicine physician.
In addition to his leadership roles, Beauregard has wide-ranging clinical experience and has served on various boards for health care organizations, including the Central Healthcare Collaborative, which is part of the Idaho Healthcare Coalition/State Healthcare Plan—a recipient of a $40 million grant from Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation to help transform healthcare in Idaho.
Beauregard graduated from the University of New England/College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Osteopathic Hospital of Maine and Faulkner Hospital in Boston, respectively.
