There’s something very magical about Harry. This locally rescued black kitten waits patiently to be noticed as he sits quietly on his bed. Harry will fit wonderfully into every home setting – good with people and children, other pets or solo. Black cats bring so much love and magic into a home.
Sally is an 8-month-old international rescue who has an insatiable desire to be around people. Perhaps a Shepherd/hound mix, this sweetheart wants nothing more than to romp around playing with toys and seeking affection from her favorite two-legged friends. She’s as smart as she is cute, and would do best in a home with a family that enjoys an active lifestyle!
For more info about meeting Harry and Sally (see what we did there?), please email Mike at MikeS@animalleague.org.

Elijah is a sweet-faced and charming little boy described as a happy-go-lucky spirit, who is just overflowing with love. Full of kisses and smiles for everyone he meets, it’s hard not to fall head over heels in love with him in but a glance! His golden coat, charming pink tongue, and warm-brownie colored eyes are only the icing on an already sweet cake.
It’s heart-breaking to know that he came into us positive for heartworm. Thankfully, he is in good hands, is undergoing treatment, and his sweet nature hasn’t been affected one bit by any of it. Bideawee will continue to pay for his treatments in his adoptive home, as long as it is done at Bideawee’s Animal Hospital in Westhampton.
He just needs a loving family and a soft place to rest his head until he’s fully healthy! If you have enough room in your heart & home for Elijah, check out his webpage.
Meet Sesame! He’s an outgoing and charming young guy who is enamored with life. Not to mention, he’s also quite handsome to behold! Boasting a golden-caramel coat, and equally brilliant eyes, it’s hard not to swoon over Sesame. He is seeking an active, loving, and mature family who will give him the time that he needs to adjust to a home.
Sesame is full of spirit and play, and needs someone who can keep up with his active lifestyle! If this handsome fellow sounds perfect for you, then check out his webpage.
Mimi is a 1-year-old gal that came to Bideawee after being found by a Good Samaritan. She was very pregnant and needed a safe place to go. After arriving at Bideawee, she gave birth to a healthy litter of five kittens and took excellent care of them.
They’re all grown and adopted now, but after doing such a good job caring for them, mom more than deserves a home to call her own to give her the same TLC! If you’d like to give Mimi the loving family she’s been looking for, check out her webpage.
Just 5-months-old, Burrito is a charming kitty and one of the more suave cats you’ll ever meet. Donning what seems to be a permanent grin, upon a gorgeously painted face with chartreuse eyes and a rose-pink nose, it would hard to be any more gifted in looks! Burrito is every bit as sweet and playful as he is good-looking. Come and get wrapped up in Burrito today. See his webpage.
For more information about adopting Elijah, Sesame, Mimi and Burrito, please contact Bideawee adoption center located at 118 Old Country Rd., Westhampton, or call 631-684-0079.

Buffy is shy girl who loves to do yoga, you can always find her stretching in crazy poses. She likes to cuddle on people’s lap and would be the perfect kitty to sleep with you at night. She adores children who know how to be gentle and wants a forever home that she will have someone to play with.

SENIOR ALERT: Frankie is 12 1/2 years young and is very much in need of a loving home. Sadly, Frankie came in as an owner surrender. They didn’t want to give him up, but they had no choice. Frankie is in need of a loving, savvy home with adults only. His previous owners said he is house trained, crate trained and even said to have saved the wife from intruders when he was much younger. He even knows a bunch of commands. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see Frankie, in his golden years, without a home and truly hope he doesn’t have to wait too long before he finds a new forever family.
If you are interested in adopting sweet Frankie, please call the shelter for more information at 516-785-5220, visit 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh or email adoption@tohmail.org
As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
