Members of the Boy Scouts teamed up with the Village of Roslyn Harbor to build a Veterans Memorial Garden at Village Hall.
The village supported Jay Wiebe, of Local Troop 71, who launched the project to achieve the coveted rank of Eagle Scout.
“The sacrifices of the few ensure the liberties of the many,” the village board said in a statement. “Roslyn Harbor honors all who have served out nation in its armed forces and pays tribute to those who have laid down their lives for our freedom.”
The village held a dedication ceremony unveiling the garden on Veteran’s Day.
