Welcome back to the hardwood.
It’s that time of year again.
The Great Neck North Blazers have a fresh new look after graduating 10 seniors last year.
This year’s varsity team consists of eight seniors, three juniors and a lone sophomore.
Leading the charge will be the formidable front court of Moshe Payam (6’3″, 275 pounds), Shawn Mac (6’6″) as well as versatile Noah Hakim.
The back court duo of Matt Yaz and Kyle Kamali expect to be the team’s top scorers, while sophomore Jackson Cronin should be seen dialing in some long-distance threes.
Ethan Yousefi, Nat Hyman, Gio, Mike Jacobs and Eric Rosenbaum round out this athletic crew.
The first home contest was about to take place just after we went to press on Tuesday, Dec. 4, against a tough Massapequa team. Find out how the Blazers performed in an upcoming issue.
