Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, a $3.3-billion organization with more than 950 sales associates in 28 offices throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties, Queens, the North Fork and Westhampton Beach, opened the doors of its newest office at 42B Middle Neck Rd. in the heart of Great Neck’s business district.
“For many years, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has been a solid player in Great Neck and the time has come for us to stake an even stronger claim in this important market,” said Deirdre O’Connell, chief executive officer of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. “Opening this new office also presents an ideal opportunity to implement a progressive business model that embraces the client experience with a combination of technological sophistication and outstanding, personalized customer service. It perfectly blends today’s workplace design aesthetic and technology, while reflecting our global Sotheby’s International Realty brand.”
The Great Neck office redefines the traditional office. Its modern design is welcoming and sophisticated, similar to an Apple store layout, with an accent on big monitors for video and photo display and open space defined by gleaming glass and steel. The open concept seamlessly accommodates work flow and public and private spaces, while offering a state-of-the-art, concierge-style experience to customers.
Occupying two floors to provide private conference areas and room to grow, the office also allots space for real estate–related products, such as smart home and voice command devices. The heavily trafficked storefront location will showcase properties and Great Neck community highlights with backlight display boards.
“The office has both beauty and brains, wired throughout for high-tech applications,” said Samuel Marcus, a longtime top-producing associate broker and seasoned sales manager, who will manage the location. “The modern technological infrastructure supports our licensed salespersons with cutting-edge software and hard data to enable them to provide an overall lifestyle advisory service to their clients and customers, from helping them to identify and purchase the right home in the community of their choosing, to helping them settle into their new home.”
The Great Neck office opened its doors with 15 experienced agents who reflect the professionalism and expertise of the global brand.
“Our tech support enables the agents to work from wherever they are, but the office environment encourages collaboration,” said Marcus. “The vibe fosters a real team spirit, which increases sales and transactions—a win-win for all. The office has become a showroom that invites buyers and sellers to spend time working with our lifestyle advisors to understand overall market conditions so that they can make their best decisions about buying and selling. We support our licensed sales professionals with the most advanced technology, training and the power of the Sotheby’s brand.”
