The Great Neck North Winter sports teams are through the grueling tryout period, and most games have either begun or are about to begin.
This season, the sports being played include boys’ basketball and wrestling, and girls’ volleyball, swimming and winter track.
Each of the teams will play approximately 10 games throughout the season.
Most of the schools that Great Neck North competes against during the winter are the same teams the school plays in other seasons, such as Manhasset, Garden City, North Shore, Roslyn, Cold Spring Harbor and The Wheatley School.
Aside from track, all of the teams have home games in the high school on Polo Road. Please come out and support your local high school teams.
