A Cappella Performance

The Yale Spizzwinks(?), the world’s oldest underclassman a cappella group, will be performing at North High to honor Class of 2017 valedictorian Zachary Lee, now in his second year with the group. An active member of GNN’s choral, instrumental and drama programs, Lee is excited to return to the stage with the Spizzwinks at 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets at spizzwinks.ticketbud.com or at the door.

National Skate Month Day

All are welcome when the Great Neck Park District, in cooperation with the Great Neck Figure Skating Club, celebrate National Skate Month at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free with a park card.

Chinese Artists Exhibit

The public is welcome at the Gold Coast Arts Center’s free opening reception for Chinese Artists in America from 4 to 7 p.m. at 113 Middle Neck Rd. The Lakeville Estates Civic Association of New Hyde Park  will hold a special emergency civic meeting at 6:30 p.m. with Nassau County Senior Legislator Richard Nicolello and Town of North Hempstead Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman, who will discuss the latest tax assessment and how to appeal without hiring an attorney at Manhasset-Lakeville Firehouse Co. 5, 21 78th Ave., off Lakeville Road, in New Hyde Park.

Choral Society Auditions
