The Levittown Chamber of Commerce would like to spotlight the Killing Kompany Comedy Mystery Dinner Shows, a member of several years.

Levittown resident Jon Avner is the artistic director of the Killing Kompany, who is also one of the leading actors in interactive audience participation, along with a cast consisting of professional Broadway, TV and film actors who are seated amongst the audience.

Avner says that since 1993, they have performed a brand new show each time. In addition to their open to the public shows at Riccardo’s in Astoria, The Views At Mt. Fuji in Hillburn, West Point Club in West Point and Palmer’s American Grille in Farmingdale, they have special murder mystery shows at various Ruth Chris’ Steak Houses in New York and New Jersey, plus other locations throughout the area. They custom create shows for private events, too. They also have other interactive shows, like TV game show night.

Avner himself has a diverse resume. He is a member of The Actors Studio, appeared in many films (HBO’s Quality Of Mercy, Showtime’s Dirt, Sundance’s Girl In The Watermelon, Queenie In Love, etc.), televisions shows (Guiding Light, As The World Turns, Ftl Newsfeed, USA Up All Night With Rhonda Shear, etc.), commercials, radio and print. His voice can be heard in many commercials, as well as animes such as Berserk, Gokusun, Darkside Blues, The Peacock King and as General Di Ravello in the video game Just Cause 3.

Most recently, he was the voice of Uncle Klaus in the award-winning animated feature “Birdboy: The Forgotten Children.” As an award-winning writer, Avner is a member of The Dramatists Guild and his works have been presented at theatres all over, as well as the hundreds of comedy dinner shows and game shows he has written and starred in around the country.

In addition to Jon Avner’s talent, the Killing Kompany’s cast has had several talented cast members. To name a few they have included: Franc Luz, soap star of One Life To Live and Ryans Hope, guest star in TV shows like LA Law and Matlock, plus films, such as When Harry Met Sally.

Kaitlin Monte, who was Miss New York State 2011 and runner-up Miss America, is now a TV reporter for Fox News and takes part in the show. Bob Ader, who appeared on Broadway in The King And I is involved. Kristin Huffman, who starred in the world tour of Phantom and is a former Miss Ohio and runner-up Miss America performs, too. Prudence Holmes, who starred on Broadway in Inherit The Wind, makes an appearance as well.
Avner says, “If you are looking for a fun and entertaining event with friends, come see the Killing Kompany Dinner Shows.”
