Fourth-graders at Seaford Manor Elementary School have been reading about and discussing many social issues for several weeks. Recently, students in Jill Egan’s class talked about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., his impact in the United States, and why it is important to continue to spread a message of acceptance, kindness and love.
The students each colored a small piece of a mural and worked cooperatively to put the pieces together revealing a portrait of Dr. King. – Seaford School District
