A Great Neck man was arrested for flashing a young girl in Great Neck on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 4 p.m., according to Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct officers.
The officers reported that while walking home from school on West End Avenue, an 11-year-old girl was approached by Jefferson Ramirez. The 26-year-old Steamboat Road resident unzipped his pants and exposed himself to the schoolgirl.
She immediately ran to a nearby neighbor’s house, and 911 was contacted.
Responding officers located Ramirez a short distance away, where he was identified and placed into custody.
Ramirez is charged with first-degree public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.
He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Feb. 7.
