Available for adoption through Pets4Luv:
Pets4Luv Foundation is being evicted from its current facility space this month. Please help them find permanent homes for their remaining cats and dogs by sharing this information.
Some of the residents at Pets4Luv include 21 cats and kittens that were rescued from a hoarding situation back in 2017. All but FIVE have loving homes and families! These five awesome boys are still looking for their chance at love and family. Come meet them, we are sure you will fall in love:
Andy is a 2-year-old fella who comes off a bit shy, but loves to play and loves to be loved. Can’t ask for more than that from a best friend!
Clint is a quiet and reserved 3-year-old guy who is good with kids, and is ready to head home with you today!
McGee is quite the character, at just 3-year-old this kitty loves to play, oh, and happens to be a pro at taking selfies. Better scoop McGee up before someone else does.
Dave and Frankie are total besties. These 3- and 4-year-old fellas are great with kids and of course each other.
For more information about these sweet kitties, contact Pets4Luv Foundation @pets4luv.org or 516-832-8200.
Available for adoption at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter:
Pia is 4 1/2 years old and came to the shelter as a stray in May 2017. This sweet gal was found alone in a park. No one was around, and it seems as though she was left there on purpose. She isn’t so happy to be at the shelter, but she loves to take advantage of her outdoor time as she rolls around on the grass like a little bug! Pia is looking for a very savvy, adult only home to help her overcome some fears she has. Pia seems interested in meeting other dogs, so that’s a plus!! If you are interested, please call for more information: 516-785-5220, visit her at 3320 Beltagh Ave., Wantagh or email adoption@tohmail.org
Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:
When Cullen (reference #MA3529) needed help, North Shore Animal League America answered the call. This one-year-old, male domestic short hair rescue started his journey in their Medical Center where experts helmed him healed from a trauma injury. Once fully recovered, he moved onto the adoption floor and now he’s been delighting everyone with his high jumps and high energy. This feline is a lot to keep up with so be prepared to be entertained by his acrobatics! If you’re looking for a fun firecracker of a feline, Cullen is ready to play. For more information, please email DoritS@animalleague.org
Enny (reference #NCI0728) is an exuberant 7-month old kitten who is bursting with playful energy. She has benefitted from being mentored by older cats and, although still very kitten-like, she has learned to adjust herself to their energy. A home with a lonely cat looking for a fun friend to take under her wing would be a wonderful place for Enny to spend forever. Enny will have the most success in a family whose home has children 10+ in age. If you’d like to meet Enny, contact DoritS@animalleague.org
Houston (reference #WV0099) is an absolute stunner! A New York transplant for an overcrowded southern municipal shelter, this 2-year old, long-haired domestic male is so very handsome. Houston enjoys gazing out a window or receiving treats and ear rubs like any other cat but his calm demeanor patiently waits for a special someone who will overlook his perfect imperfections. Houston is FIV+ so a household with no other pets or with other FIV+ cats is his ideal destination. A recent diagnosis of a minor heart condition will be monitored by North Shore’s Medical Center at low cost. From the moment you lay eyes upon Houston, you will know he’s some kind of wonderful! You will too. If you’re interested in Houston, contact DoritS@animalleague.org
As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
