A 20-year-old Queens man was arrested on Saturday for an unlawful surveillance that occurred in Great Neck on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 4:15 p.m., according to Nassau County Third Squad police officers.
The detectives report that Daniel Perez went to the Wego Chemical Group building at 239 Great Neck Rd., where he concealed a cell phone in the woman’s bathroom, pointed it at a toilet and set it on record.
A female victim later found the phone when she went into the restroom. She played back the recording and saw Perez recording himself as he was concealing the phone in the bathroom.
The victim called police.
Upon further investigation, two other female victims were also found to have been recorded by the cell phone.
Perez was located by Third Squad detectives at his Jamaica residence and placed under arrest on Saturday, Feb. 9.
He is charged with three counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance and was arraigned on Sunday, Feb. 10, at First District Court, 99 Main St. in Hempstead.
