County Executive Curran encourages families to enjoy a staycation

From ice skating, to swimming, to bird walks, to face painting, to films—finding fun and affordable activities during public schools’ winter recess is easy in Nassau County. County Executive Laura Curran encourages parents and kids to take advantage of the wide variety of activities available in the county’s public parks, museums, cultural and educational institutions. 

Here’s the lineup of activities and entertainment while schools are out from Saturday, Feb. 16, to Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019. 

Ice Skating

Cantiague Park
