School Residency Reverification

The Great Neck Public Schools is currently undertaking the annual process of residency reverification for all students entering ninth grade in September 2019. This collection of documentation will assist in assembling students’ records for high school and will verify that all students who enter the high schools are residents of the district and entitled to attend. Parents/legal guardians of all current eighth-grade students were recently sent a mailing explaining the required documentation and the submission method. Additional information may be obtained by phoning your child’s middle school at 516-441-4500 for North Middle or 516-441-4600 for South Middle, or by visiting www.greatneck.k12.ny.us/registration and clicking Ninth Grade Re-Verification on left column. Reverification must be completed before a current eighth grader will be admitted to high school. Early submission of documents will facilitate this process, so all families with a student in eighth grade are urged to submit the documents before Thursday, Feb. 28.
