Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:
Jackson (reference #77401) is an 11-year-old male Chihuahua mix rescued from Tennessee. He’s a happy, playful little guy who is an office favorite at North Shore Animal League America. He loves belly rubs and lounging with a view out the window.
He would do best in a quieter household with children age 12 and older. Jackson needs to meet everyone in the home, including the resident dog, and NSALA can arrange a meet & greet with your family pet(s.) Jackson would love to spend the rest of his life being a member of your family.
Chili (reference #T99709) is an adorable 5-year-old female Chihuahua mix who loves her daily walks on a leash. She’s been in a home so she’s well-behaved and currently a beloved office foster at North Shore Animal League America’s campus. She takes some time to warm up with new people and is a bit fearful – she needs some time, and patience, and T.L.C. and she needs to go to a calm home with older children only.
She has a slight heart murmur, but it doesn’t slow her down. Anyone interested in adopting Chili would be eligible for three private training sessions with NSALA’s pet behavior staff. It would be best if everyone in the family can meet her before adoption, including the family dog, to make sure it is the right match.
