Wantagh Middle School’s community service club called Business and Education Serving Together participated in the 33rd annual Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County Trivia Challenge Championships in late February. Eighth-grade team members Sean Browne, Emma Caputo, Abigail Conway and Natasha Meagher finished in third place. Skylar Mondelli, Jacklynn LaMacchia, Bridget Toscano and Cate Russo also represented the district on the sixth-grade level. The club raised and donated $600 to the organization.

The Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County Trivia Challenge is a fundraising event for students in grades 3-12. During the contest, students are organized in teams of four to take a 100-question test provided by Cerebral Palsy Nassau. Students collect sponsorships from families and friends to donate to the organization and to benefit its programs and services for more than 1,500 children and adults with cerebral palsy.
