Four members of the Levittown Public Schools were honored for their strong commitment to education at the SCOPE Education Services’ 18th annual School District Awards Dinner at Villa Lombardi’s on March 18. Fitting the theme of the evening, “Shining Above The Rest,” the special event honored more than 170 exceptional individuals in the field of education.
Levittown honorees included newly retired Principal Personnel Clerk Charlene Drewes, Support Staff Service Award; MacArthur High School Assistant Principal Anne Rao, Administrator Service Award; MacArthur High School social studies teacher Christina Reynolds, Teacher Service Award, and Board of Education President Peggy Marenghi, School Board Service Award. In addition, Louise Cassano from the Levittown Chamber of Commerce was recognized with the Community Service Award for her outstanding work in the Levittown community.
