Sad eyed Lester is very patiently waiting for a home. This 4-year-old boy came to the TOH Animal Shelter after being found as a stray in September 2018 by the police. They brought him to safety, and now its time for him to find a loving home. Lester is a sweet, calm boy who seems to like other dogs, but is under-socialized and isn’t quite sure what to do…
Lester is friendly with people but doesn’t seem to know any commands. Staff and volunteers are certain he is very smart and capable of learning, if only he had an owner willing to teach him! Lester has been lucky enough to get out for some foster field trips and it has really benefitted him. He loves getting in the car and behaves like a perfect gentleman when he’s out and about.
If you are interested in adopting Lester, please call 516-785-5220, visit him at 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh or email adoption@tohmail.org today!
