Syosset Honors Memory Of Honorary Chief James Thomas

Syosset Fire Department mourns the loss of 70-year member and Honorary Chief James “Mootsie” Thomas. Hundreds of firefighters and friends gathered at the Syosset Fire Department headquarters this evening to pay their respects .

James was still an active member of the department at 90 years old and a service to the community.
