The next meeting of the Property Owners’ Association of Garden City Estates (“Estates POA”) will be on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. at the Stratford School cafeteria. The guest speaker will be Winthrop University Hospital Director of External Affairs Justin Burke, who will speak about the ambulance service being provided to the village.
In addition to the committee’s and trustees’ reports, there will be a short presentation by the Estates Zoning Board Representative Michael Schroder, explaining what the board does and when property owners should discuss their renovations with the building department. New Environmental Advisory Board Representative John Reilly will give an update on the water tower, aircraft noise abatement and recycling.
