The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards Performances And Nominees

All eyes will be on the Staples Center stage in Los Angeles when the 62nd annual Grammy Awards premieres on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 8 p.m. on CBS. Fifteen-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys will be returning as this year’s host and on the nomination side, newcomer Lizzo received the most Grammy award nominations of any artist with eight, followed by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X who have six Grammy award nominations each.

Set to take the Grammy stage this year are Aerosmith, who will perform a medley of some of their greatest hits, first-time nominee breakout stars Eilish and Lizzo, and powerhouse artists and couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Shelton is nominated this year for Best Country Solo Performance for his song “God’s Country.” Aerosmith, who has won four Grammy awards, is also the recipient of MusiCares Person of the Year 2020 award in recognition of the band’s philanthropic efforts over five decades and undeniable impact on American music history.

Eilish is nominated for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Bad Guy,” Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Best New Artist.

Lizzo is nominated for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Truth Hurts,” Album Of The Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album for her album Cuz I Love You, Best New Artist, Best R&B Performance for her song “Exactly How I Feel” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for her song “Jerome.”

This year’s nominees were selected from more than 20,000 submissions across 84 categories and reflect the wide range of artistic innovation that defined the year in music from Oct. 1, 2018 to Aug. 31, 2019. Here are the nominees for this year’s Grammy Awards.
