The Clark Gillies Foundation held it’s annual Bowling for Kids fundraiser at Bowlmor Lanes in Melville on Jan. 22.
In this 8th annual event, the nonprofit had more than 200 people, including many families with children attend to enjoy bowling and pizza. The group’s mission is to help children who are developmentally, physically, or financially challenged and the event supports that cause.
More than 20 raffle baskets were designed for children and teens to enjoy. Each year, the funds raised have exceeded the previous year.
Event sponsors were Alure Home Improvements and Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Alure Home Improvements President and CEO Sal Ferro not only chairs the event but he was proud to introduce Clark Gillies who spoke of his commitment to help kids.
