Michael Dowling, president and CEO of Northwell Health, will be the keynote speaker at the 17th annual Long Island Press Power List networking event at The Carltun in East Meadow on Feb. 27.
Dowling, whose hospital group is the largest private employer in New York State, recently made headlines when he called on fellow CEOs to match his $1 million donation to help fight the national epidemic of gun violence — epitomizing Power Listers who use their influence for good causes.
“I look forward to networking with Long Island’s most influential business and community leaders at Long Island Press’ Power List reception,” Dowling says.
Dowling was inducted into the Power List Hall of Fame in 2012, an honor earned after making the list five times.
Northwell Health has 23 hospitals, about 750 outpatient facilities, more than 13,600 affiliated physicians, and 70,000 employees.
