Quality Medical Management Services USA, LLC, (QMMS USA) an affiliate of ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP, (ENTA) announced on Feb. 7 that it has signed a 10-year lease with East Shore Realty, LLC for a new clinical office at its current clinical location at 333 East Shore Rd., Manhasset.
“Last year we merged in an existing three-man practice who had a site there,” CEO Robert Glazer said. “What we’re doing now is we have taken that site and expanded. There was another suite across the hall so in essence, we’ve doubled the size of that site by taking on that space across the hall and signed a new lease that keeps us there for the next 10 years.”
This expansion will include 12 ears, nose and throat exam rooms, four allergy rooms, three audiology booths, a complete hearing aid dispensary, a full complement of allergy exam rooms for on-site testing and injections. The Manhasset office will now feature approximately 7,700 square feet after the renovation is complete around the current target date of March 15.
“I have been practicing medicine in Nassau County for many years,” ENTA physician partner Mike Ditkoff said. “I can tell you that we are extremely excited about what this new lease and facility upgrade will mean for patients in our communities.”
The expansion and renovations will be spearheaded by Nicole Monti-Spadaccini, senior vice president and chief operating officer of QMMS USA. Monti currently oversees and directs the entire day-to-day operations for ENTA.
“Manhasset is an exciting place to live and work,” Philip Perlman, a senior ENTA partner in this office, said. “Our neighborhood offers a dynamic environment that lends itself to young and old alike, singles and families wanting to take full advantage of the area. Our newly-expanded office is now geared for further population growth and our patients deserve no less.”
ENTA has several other Nassau County offices, including Garden City and Lake Success. The Lake Success location is expected to have renovation plans announced within the coming weeks.
Each ENTA clinical location provides access to general adult and pediatric ENT and allergy, voice and swallowing, advanced sinus and skull base surgery, facial plastics and reconstructive surgery, disorders of the inner ear and dizziness, asthma, clinical immunology, diagnostic audiology, hearing aid dispensing, sleep and CT Services.
“That area of Nassau County is one that we think has the demographics to support additional otolaryngologists,” Glazer said. “The site itself was already an established otolaryngology location that patients already knew, including our physicians there. It made sense to us to stay in that building. It had decent parking and somewhat of a recognition in the community. You want to leverage that when you can.”
ENTA also has clinical alliances with Mount Sinai Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, Northwell Health and a partnership with the American Cancer Society. To learn more about QMMS USA, LLC, visit www.qmmsusa.com.
