Andrew Lagnado
Friends of Karen, the not-for-profit that provides support to critically ill children and their families, named Lagnado to its Long Island advisory board. He is the principal at Copiague Middle School and serves as a trustee to the Woodbury Jewish Center.

Simmons was elected President of the National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. the country’s oldest organization dedicated to the preservation, encouragement, and advocacy of all genres of African-American music.

Post was appointed Long Island director of the American Jewish Committee, which combats antisemitism, promotes Israel’s place in the world, counters extremism, and promotes pluralism. He has worked at the organization over four years and has been involved since 2002.
