MANHASSET

Nikhil Sekaran, a loving son, brother, relative and friend who lived his life with curiosity, passion, kindness and a spirit of adventure. A long time Manhasset resident and a graduate of Manhasset Public Schools class of ‘02 and Vanderbilt University, Nikki spent his professional career in the fields of international affairs, corporate law, software marketing and e-commerce. He loved to travel and had a deep appreciation for international culture. We will forever cherish Nikki’s generous and kind-hearted nature, and his fearless quest for personal improvement.  May his soul forever rest in peace, and continue to inspire our lives.

GREAT NECK

Eugene Steven Tesoriero “Tes” of Great Neck, died on May 7, at age 59. After six year battle with Early on set Alzheimers, he passed away from complications of COVID-19. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori and stepchildren Kimberly Barresi (Mike) and Michael Klein; Beloved Brothers Mark (Suzanne) and Ricky (Karen); many adored nieces, nephew and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Ann and Eugene. Private Service and Interment was held at Dodge Thomas Funeral Home and Brookville Cemetery.

Janice Josephson of Great Neck passed away on April 22.  She was 96 years old.

She is survived by her three children, Ken Josephson of Peoria, AZ, Ellen Vargyas of Washington D.C. and Warren Josephson of Short Hills, NJ; her daughters-in-law Susan Josephson and Jill Brenner, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her husband of 64 years, Charles, passed away in 2010. Anne Capobianco (Guiffre) passed away on April 30. Born in Manhattan, Anne graduated early from Girls’ Commercial High School in Brooklyn before moving to Port Washington in 1961 to raise her family. She loved cooking, reading, gardening and knitting. Her sense of humor and determination will be missed. Anne is predeceased by her husband (Ralph), two brothers and daughter (Anne Ressa). She is survived by one sister, Maria Presti; two sons, Anthony (Debby) and Steven Capobianco; and granddaughters, Elise and Kathryn Ressa. Donations in Anne’s memory can be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Breadline.

Theresa Coraci, 85, of Albertson, passed away on April 14. Beloved wife of 64 years to James. Loving mother of Christine Coraci Bennett (Tom), Peter Coraci (Stacy), and Anthony Coraci (Jeanne). Cherished grandmother of James and Anthony. Dear sister of Flory (Robby), Monte (Marie), Philly (Ann), Mary (Charlie), and Frank (Josie). She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, she was our angel on earth and now she is watching over us. Due to the pandemic, a private burial was held at St. Charles Cemetery. Giacomo Sanfilippo “Jack”, 92, of Bethpage passed away peacefully on April 18. His wife of 72 years and the love of his life since he was 14, Margaret was at his side.
