**SPECIAL REQUEST** When Pets4Luv was alerted by a Long Island Rail Road employee about a kitten stuck in the middle of the train tracks at the Garden City station, they came running. By some miracle, a train passed right over her but didn’t hit her. Staff and volunteers guess the impact probably tumbled her, as she has head trauma and a fractured pelvis. Doctors have her on a 48-hour watch and her current prognosis is “guarded.” Pets4Luv calls this little nugget Zephyr, and they are seeking a home for her so that she can be released from the hospital. For more information please call 516-860-7057 or email info@pets4luv.org. To apply online or to donate to her medical care, visit paypal.me/pets4luvfoundation

Available for Adoption through Last Hope Animal Rescue:
Callie Mae is a 2-to-3-year-old Lab mix who had a rough life in Georgia before being surrendered under duress to the local shelter. Her former owner was threatened with cruelty charges by Animal Control unless she was relinquished because her owner kept Callie tied to a tree with no shelter, whelping as she had her many litters at such a young age. Callie May is now a happy pup after lots of love and attention from Last Hope volunteers. Now she smiles, plays ball, tries to be a lap dog, is thrilled to see everyone, rolls over for belly rubs, and romps in the play yard. All she needs now is a forever home of her own.
For more information about adopting Callie Mae, check out Last Hope’s website at lasthopeanimalrescue.org/ or call today at 631-425-1884.

Enthusiastic Cranston’s (Adoption #H210639) zest for life sometimes gets the better of him. This 2-year-old’s exuberance is best appreciated by experienced cat fans who understand feline body language rather than novices to the feline world. Now that NSALA gave Cranston a quiet space to settle in to, this entertaining young boy is showing his best, most playful side. Running from windows to feather toys to trusted humans doling out treats, Cranston is proving he’ll be a devoted sidekick to a human whose life has the predictable pace he needs to transition smoothly. If your home needs a large personality to fill in the gaps, Cranston would appreciate being the only pet there. A household with children 16 and older in age will ensure that his enthusiasm isn’t misinterpreted. Keep those treats and toys coming and we can assure you a delightful life together awaits!
**Double Adoption** Sweet Sassy (Adoption #R166986) and her somewhat shier sidekick Sasha (Adoption #R166996) are quietly waiting for you in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. These 6-month-old southern belles took a road trip in the hopes the East Coast would help them discover a family for the duo. Sweeter and more patient companions would be hard to find. Sasha has learned a lot from watching her bestie branch out and enjoy ear rubs from attentive humans. Together they dream of a future filled with windows to share and cuddle time together, but they’ll always make room for the human who completes their rescue story.
Sure, Oliver (Adoption #MA2525) never met a bowl of kibble he didn’t like, but this terrific tuxedo feels that way about everyone and everything! Everyone is quite impressed with his impeccable manners and voracious head butts(which he considers part of his exercise regime.) Everything about 4-year-old Oliver is robust. NSALA has placed him on a healthy diet which—guess what—he eats with gusto! If you’d like to join him on his healthy plan to get fit, he’ll repay you with second helpings of gratitude!
Mila (Adoption #BF3564) was recently delivered into the safety of Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center where she was given a quiet place to adjust to indoor living. This stunning 5-month-old kitten was shy at first, but the perks of freedom have revealed a delightfully confident side of her. Staff and volunteers see Mila transitioning very easily into her first home with the help of your gentle hands. Also, lots of reassuring ear rubs along the way will aid her journey from the streets into your heart and home.
Shenanigans (Adoption #H210908) was left outside to fend for himself until NSALA’s Rescue Team turned his life around by offered him a safe room in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. It only took a moment for this shy 2-year-old boy to realize awesome living the rest of his life safely inside could be, surrounded by love and attention. Although tentative at first, he is super treat motivated and welcomes ear rubs—begging for more! NSALA is promising Shenanigans a lifetime of fun and games, but he’d be happy for a quiet spot in your home to settle into the life he deserves, as a beloved member of your family.
**Double Adoption** When Patron (Adoption #BF2437) and Tito (Adoption #BF2438) lost their home, they moved the party to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center! These festive 2-year-old brothers never met a feather wand toy they didn’t love and have lost no time adjusting to their new life. You’ll find them both hopping around with friends looking for a good time, but they always make time for treats and ear rubs. If your home is missing a little spark, we know the purrfect siblings to liven things up for you!
