The 12th Annual Bethpage Turkey Drive for Island Harvest will be going contactless this year. The demand for donations is high this year, and help is needed for those who are food insecure.

Long Islanders are asked to drop off frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items (except those in glass containers), supermarket gift cards or cash donations. The drop-off will take place on Friday, Nov. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union parking lot at 899 South Oyster Bay Rd. in Bethpage.

For the safety of the community, Bethpage will require that all donors remain in their cars and place their donations in their trunks. Volunteers will then remove the donations from the car to ensure contactless donations. Patches will be given to all Brownies and Girl Scout Troops who make a donation.
Bethpage will be accepting monetary donations online at www.lovebethpage/turkeydrive for the entire holiday season.
