Plainedge High School students in the Virtual Enterprise class are getting a taste of how business is changing during the global pandemic. Students are adapting to the times, learning about a new trade show model.

They are now using Zoom breakout rooms to welcome customers, pitch their products and make sales. The Virtual Enterprise (VE) class started at Plainedge High School during the 2018-19 school year.

It teaches students how to create a business to run virtually alongside hundreds of other VE classes internationally. Throughout the class, students develop leadership, professional and technology skills through work-based learning experiences.
